When you are lucky enough to be gifted your grandmother’s beautiful vintage china, it can provide the inspiration for wedding style. Abby, owner of AB Photography (www.abphotographynh.com) was the fortunate recipient of her grandmother’s vintage china. She explains, when asked where the idea for the country Lakes Region photo shoot came from, “My inspiration for this styled shoot was to put together a true New Hampshire wedding centered around the gorgeous mountains and the vintage plates given to me by my grandmother. The blue and white china was the main piece from the beginning and it helped to shape the whole premise of the shoot. As a true lover of nature and the mountains I knew I wanted this shoot to showcase the beauty of New Hampshire.”
The location for the shoot was Timber Hill Farm in Gilford; with beautiful views of the lake and mountains as a backdrop, the table and bride and groom were photographed in one of the fields on the property.
Abby says, “Having spent my whole life on horse farms and loving the outdoors I knew I needed the perfect New England farm to showcase this shoot the way I saw in my mind. Timber Hill is the epitome of the perfect New Hampshire farm. With rolling fields, a beautiful mountain view and still a fully functioning farm there was no better place for this shoot.”
Abby coordinated the entire photo shoot, as well as photographing the day. The bride and groom are, Abby says, “a real couple and they are newlyweds as of August 2015! These two sweethearts were the perfect NH couple to show off this beautiful shoot.”
Vendors who participated in the photo shoot were chosen by Abby. She says, “Vendors were based on networking that I had done through my local Rising Tide chapter, as well as friends I had worked with in the industry. I wanted to find people who were New Englanders that would appreciate the natural outdoor beauty of the shoot.”
The photos, inspired by the beauty of the Lakes Region, and that gorgeous vintage blue and white china from Abby’s grandmother, truly speak for themselves.
