Jennifer and Matthew celebrated their first anniversary with an epic photo shoot in complete wedding attire at the beautiful Franklin Falls Dam in Franklin. The vast expanse of the terrain was the perfect backdrop for celebrating their forever-love.
“The elevated pump house seems almost like a castle looking down upon moors,” says photographer Kristin Pelletier. The fairytale setting suited the bride well, with her elegant backless dress by Essense of Australia and whimsical bouquet from Ashland’s Mountain Laurel (www.mountainlaurelflowers.com). The local couple met while apple picking with friends, and were married on September 12, 2014 at Gilford Community Church (www.gilfordcommunitychurch.org), with a reception at Chase House, Mill Falls (www.millfalls.com), Meredith.
Jennifer and Matthew decided that a first anniversary photo session was imperative. They wanted to document their first year of matrimony for themselves and their future children. Local friends, Kristin and Pete Pelletier of simpell photo & design (www.simpelldesign.com), spent several hours photographing them on the frigid morning of October 10, 2015 and also recorded a short video over which was placed an audio recording of their voices reading their original vows to one another. The couple were thrilled with the results. “Words can never describe what this means to us! The video is awesome and the pictures are exactly what we wanted! They are more true to who we are as a couple than anything from our actual wedding day – weddings can be stressful! We will cherish them forever!” says Jennifer.
